An Ashland man was shot dead on Sunday in what appears to be a targeted attack, according to the Ashland Police Department.

Matthew Mark Vandersande, 40, was found lying on the ground near A Street and North Second Street around 3:40 a.m. Sunday, dead from gunshot wounds, the police stated.

The police believe that Vandersande was inside his parked vehicle on A Street when someone approached and fired multiple rounds at him. Read More »
